Are you an Animal Control Officer that would like more experience and training with equines? These open houses provide an opportunity for our community ACO to learn and practice necessary equine handling in preparation for equine seizures and cases involving equines. Attendees practice haltering, leading, and trailer loading in addition to learning about basic equine body language, equine body scoring, and how to approach scared/nervous/upset equines.
