Come out to Hope’s Legacy Equine Rescue’s FREE Open House from 10am to 1pm to take a self-guided tour and learn from our knowledgeable volunteers. Take in the views and beauty of Castle Rock Farm during this family-friendly event.
We are also excited to announce that Hope’s Legacy is hosting a FREE compression-only CPR and AED training that day at 11 am in our new Henry J Javor Intake Barn. The Compress & Shock Foundation is partnering with Hope’s Legacy to provide this class which is open to the public! You can sign up by clicking here or the link below. Members of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad and the Western Albemarle Rescue Squad will be assisting as well.
If at least 35 participants attend the CPR/AED class to learn this vital skill, Hope’s Legacy will receive a donated AED to house at our rescue and to provide expanded access to this life-saving device.
